It’s time for forest!

Here, adventure tickles you: into the Waldwelt Allgäu and up onto the treetop path!

What’s that crawling? What’s that fluttering? What’s that creaking in the wind? The forest is wild and bustling, and quite exciting around the mighty treetop path, the “Skywalk”, your excursion destination in the Allgäu region. Below the suspension bridge above Scheidegg, forest explorers and adventurers thrive. Animal lovers can head straight to the petting zoo for their dose of happiness.

Forest & Water Combi-Ticket

Just before the vacations, we are offering a special promotion from July 7 to 25 in combination with the Scheidegg waterfalls: The “Forest & Water” combination ticket for hot days.

Cool forest for hot days!

Six weeks off school and therefore plenty of time for fun things. There is a great extra program during the vacations. Workshops, forest readings, craft activities – all at no extra charge!

Lake Constance Adventure Days

On Saturday, 28 & Sunday, 29 June, numerous family-friendly excursion destinations around Lake Constance will visit Waldwelt and invite you to take part in an interactive hands-on program. Let yourself be inspired and come along.

How to find us:

By car

Autobahn A96
Take the Sigmarszell/Scheidegg exit and drive in the direction of Scheidegg until you reach the municipality. At the traffic circle, take the first exit and follow the signs to “skywalk allgäu”.

From Lindenberg
At the traffic circle in Scheidegg, take the second exit and follow the signs to “skywalk allgäu”.

From Bregenz
Once in Scheidegg, follow the signs to “skywalk allgäu”.

By bus

From Scheidegg
Bus route 21 to the customs office
Bus route 11 and 141 to the Kurhaus

From Möggers-Weilenried
Bus route 21 to the customs office

… All bus routes are followed by a walk to the entrance of the Skywalk Waldwelt (approx. 30 minutes).

On foot

The “Mountain and Lake Premium Hiking Trail” leads from the Kurhaus Scheidegg to impressive panoramic views. The trail is 18 kilometers long in total. If you walk it as described, you will reach the Waldwelt after 15 kilometers. If you walk it in the opposite direction, you will arrive after just 3 kilometers. Either way, the best views of the Alps and Lake Constance are guaranteed from the Skywalk.
