An excursion destination for everyone: no tripping hazards, no narrow sections and no muddy ground. Instead, elegant driveways, a glass elevator and all paths suitable for wheels of all kinds. In short: the entire Waldwelt is easily accessible – even the Skywalk.
“Reisen für Alle” has certified the Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu. The rather impressive glass elevator helps you reach the treetop walk “Skywalk” in a quite entertaining way with a baby carriage or wheelchair. We are also prepared for all other needs. We have been an integrative company since day one. This means that 40 percent of our employees have a disability. That’s why we know exactly what families need for a totally relaxed day.
Further questions
There are a limited number of parking spaces for wheelchair users and people with walking difficulties directly at the entrance area. A separate driveway leads across the adjacent hospital grounds.
You can also use the paved path behind the public toilets (on the clinic grounds) with baby carriages and wheelchairs.
Parking rates:
up to 30 minutes: free
up to 60 minutes: € 3.00
every additional hour or part thereof: € 1.00
Please pay the parking fee at the machine when you leave the parking lot.
