In the Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu, you can feel mindfulness and appreciation in every corner. We see what is happening around us and who comes to visit us here. It is important to us to treat each other well, but also to treat nature well. Because the forest habitat is the basis of everything.

We love regional suppliers. We value short distances for goods and offers, so that emissions from travel remain low. Our credo is: if the quality is right, we like to buy from our neighbors. We know what we are offering you: How it is produced, who made it and, above all, how it tastes.

Sustainability
Here, everything grows hand in hand: the forest, the people and the Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu. Where can you feel this? Between our healthy trees and among the people who work here. We make sure that everyone is doing well: the team, the guests and nature.
Our sponsor provides the basis for this. The Catholic Youth Welfare Service of the Diocese of Augsburg has over 100 years of experience and ensures that the forest near Scheidegg is full of experiences with people in mind. The nature adventure park is rather exotic in the portfolio: all other KJS companies are social and medical facilities. The focus is on children and youth welfare, vocational training and health services.
Visitors experience our shared values every day: all KJF companies act according to the motto “Courage to live”. In the Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu, the forest forms the basis for this. Above this is the commandment to love one’s neighbor. That is why guests experience good treatment everywhere here – with nature, with people and among employees.
Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu is an integration company. 40 percent of the people who work at Waldwelt live with disabilities. Our common basis is friendly cooperation. Everyone who enters the Waldwelt can sense this: it’s simply warm and welcoming here!
We not only treat each other with care and respect, but also our guests. We motivate and integrate our visitors and develop their environmental awareness in the process. With a good sense of sustainability, we create a cross-generational experience for young and old forest fans with a predominantly barrier-free offer that inspires everyone again and again.
This makes the Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu a great asset for the municipality of Scheidegg in the Allgäu. For us, cooperation with regional partners is part of this. We work together with people from tourism, gastronomy, nature conservation and politics. Because this is the only way to create an excursion destination in the Allgäu for the whole family that really brings joy to everyone.
