Experience the very special atmosphere of Waldweihnacht. The festively decorated stalls and a varied supporting program invite you to get in the mood for Christmas with the whole family.
Every year, the scent of mulled wine and sweet crêpes wafts through the Waldwelt Allgäu and the forest area shines with Christmas lights. This is also the case this year, when the Waldweihnacht invites you to visit on the third weekend in Advent to get the whole family in the mood for Christmas. There are festively decorated stalls selling homemade goods and handicrafts. Children can post their wish list to the Christ Child at the Himmelspostamt. Both St. Nicholas and the Snow Queen have announced themselves as guests of honor. Culinary highlights include our goose hut, the sweet hut with crêpes and angel rings and the soup hut with goulash and cheese soup. A varied musical program with choirs, alphorn and brass players as well as crackling fireplaces round off the atmospheric festival in the nature adventure park.
Of course, both the treetop path and the play equipment in the forest world are also accessible to all visitors during the Forest Christmas.
Opening hours and information
Saturday, December 13: 12 – 8 p.m.
Sunday, December 14: 12 – 7 p.m.
Last admission one hour before closing time. Tickets are available directly on site at the box office.
Arrival:
A free shuttle bus is available from the Kurhaus bus stop. We recommend that all visitors travel by bus, as parking spaces on site are limited.
The bus runs between the Kurhaus and the Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu visitor parking lot from 13:00 on Saturday and Sunday. Last departure on Saturday to the Kurhaus is at 20:05. On Sunday the last departure to the Kurhaus is at 19:05.
Supporting program
The framework program for 2025 will be published at a later date.
The program is subject tochange. The treetop walk and individual play equipment may be closed due to weather conditions.
