From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., an extraordinary musical experience will take place between the treetop walk and the forest floor, between the viewing terrace and a very quiet corner. “Mini concerts at various points in the forest will provide special moments throughout the day that forest lovers young and old are sure to enjoy,” says Alisa Schneider from Waldwelt Skywalk Allgäu. “Sitting on logs and on the forest floor, walking and strolling past or sliding and romping – depending on your mood and urge to move.”
Between the twittering of birds and rustling branches, Matthias Meusburger makes the audience dream with soft handpan tones. Lively brass music with different instrumentation from the “Alpenklänge Thal” from Sulzberg creates a cheerful atmosphere. At the end, the powerful ensemble performs a large concert on the covered terrace.
If you fancy making music yourself, you can take part in a rhythmic and sonorous hands-on drumming workshop with Markus Noichl at the edge of the forest every hour on the hour. The day ends with the Messkirch alphorn players playing their impressive sounds towards the Alps (at 4 pm) from the panorama terrace.

The “A forest full of music” event is included in the regular park admission price. All attractions at the Waldwelt are open to visitors free of charge on this day. The park is open from 10 am to 6 pm. In the event of rain, the event will unfortunately have to be canceled. The decision will be made on Friday, 04.07.2025.
