Petting zoo

Oh, how cute! The Waldwelt is the home of lively goats and woolly cameroon sheep. Come closer - touching and stroking is allowed!

One stroke please!

Quick tongue, waggy tail. If you take a closer look at our goats and cameroon sheep, you’ll discover lots of funny details. Touching is expressly permitted! Or just have a look without a fence in between. Once you’ve seen real animals… pardon! Be close to the fur.

Our tame four-legged friends are robust and calm. They like to be handled by children and adults. Watch out: they might nudge you. When looking for food, our goats (in particular) can become quite clingy. A little note: Please only feed them what comes from our park staff. We want our animals to stay healthy.

Hungry too? Perfect! Our petting zoo is right next to the restaurant with its panoramic beer garden. Ideal for a successful family outing in the Allgäu – for children, for young adults and for parents who like to keep an eye on everything.

Petting zoo with mountain views

Our animals are close to our hearts. Their enclosure is designed to be species-appropriate. They have the opportunity to retreat and can choose whether they want to be stroked or not. Are you still small? Perfect! Then you can experience here (perhaps for the first time?) how sheep smell and how goats jump on a stone. This could soon become your number one activity in the Allgäu.

Come into our enclosure!
