Fantastic prospects for running enthusiasts

Fresh forest air, a challenging running route and a fantastic view … What better conditions for young and old running enthusiasts to take part in a sporting competition? We cordially invite you to the third skywalk run on Saturday, May 10.

This is a circular run for sports fans of all generations. The route runs along the treetop walk and part of the park grounds. It is 670 meters in total, with all runners having to climb 110 steps up and 120 steps down. This corresponds to 37 meters in altitude per lap, i.e. almost 400 meters in altitude over 10 laps. Participants should therefore bring a bit of stamina with them so that they can also enjoy the fantastic views of the natural surroundings.

Two separate competitions at the skywalk run

There will be two separate competitions in the skywalk run. In the children’s run, girls and boys aged 5 to 13 will compete against each other. However, there are two separate groups. The age group 5 to 8 years starts at 3:30 pm, the older age group 9 to 13 years starts at 3:40 pm. The children complete one lap together. Each participant crosses the finish line as the winner and receives a skywalk running medal.

In the run for young people and adults (aged 14 and over), participants compete against each other in teams of two (men, women or mixed), with the team members taking it in turns to complete the course for one hour. The three best teams are then chosen.

• Children’s run (1 lap) – Please note: For safety reasons, children may not be accompanied by adults during the run. Adults are not allowed on the course during the runs.
  3:30 pm – start age group 5 – 8 years
  3:40 pm – start age group 9 – 13 years
• Hour relay race for young people (aged 14 and over) and adults
  16:00 – start group 1
• Relay race for young people (aged 14 and over) and adults
  5:15 pm – start group 2
• Award ceremony and musical entertainment with DJ Lohco
  6:30 pm

Application fees

• Adult team (per team) € 40.00
  This includes drinks + snacks during the run, runner’s bag, personalized start number, runner’s medal and a larger prize for the first three winners (men, women, mixed).
  
• Children’s run per child € 7.00
  This includes drinks and snacks during the run. Each child also receives a runner’s bag and a personalized start number.
  In the skywalk run, every participating child is a winner and is honored with a medal at the finish line.

We look forward to welcoming numerous runners to the skywalk run. Admission is free for spectators on this day from 3 pm. The running course will be closed from 3 pm.
